Sound familiar?
Loss you can't put a name to
Alarms without an item
The gate goes off, but nobody can say what left. The stock record stays wrong until the next count.
Returns you can't verify
Was it bought here, online or in store? Or stolen and brought back for a refund?
Gaps that show up weeks later
A product count is short at the next count, and theft, admin errors and supplier shortfalls all look the same.
Where stock goes missing
Five places loss happens, and what catches it
Tap a zone on the store plan to see the typical loss there and the Retail Reload feature that deals with it.
Fitting rooms
Loss: labels removed, items carried out.
Retail Reload: fitting-room fraud blocking catches removed labels and stolen items. One associate can manage several fitting rooms, and smart fitting detects items automatically.
Returns desk
Loss: stolen items or items bought elsewhere returned for a refund.
Retail Reload: one-scan return checks the item, whether it was bought online or in store, and blocks return fraud.
Sales floor and stockroom
Loss: theft by customers or staff that only shows up as a gap in the count.
Retail Reload: an algorithm detects stolen items automatically and flags suspected internal theft for review.
Exit and security gates
Loss: a gate alarms, but nobody knows which item left.
Retail Reload: an API for fixed RFID readers, including EAS gates and self-checkout, turns each read into item data. Retail Reload doesn't sell gates; it connects to yours.
Warehouse receiving
Loss: items invoiced by the manufacturer but never delivered, or delivered faulty.
Retail Reload: detects manufacturer discrepancies at warehouse receiving, flags quality, sizing or fabric issues within four days, and limits recalls to the batch concerned.

Damaged items
Damaged products and items with a removed RFID label are regularised separately, so they don't hide inside "unknown" loss.

When your products show up on unofficial channels, item-level data helps Retail Reload identify where they came from.
FAQ
Questions about RFID and loss
Does RFID stop shoplifting?
Not on its own. Like other security tags, RFID tags trigger the exit gates when an item leaves unpaid. What RFID adds is knowing exactly which item left, so you can see patterns by product, zone and time and fix the cause.
Can RFID stop fitting-room theft?
It makes it visible and harder. Each item is identified, so removed labels and items that don't come out of the fitting room are flagged. Retail Reload includes fitting-room fraud blocking.
What is return fraud, and how does RFID prevent it?
Return fraud is returning an item that was stolen, bought elsewhere or worn and brought back. Retail Reload's one-scan return checks the identity of the returned item, verifies whether it was bought online or in store, and blocks fraudulent returns.
Can RFID detect internal theft?
Retail Reload uses an algorithm that detects stolen items automatically and flags suspected internal theft for review.
Can RFID catch supplier discrepancies?
Yes. Retail Reload detects manufacturer discrepancies at warehouse receiving and flags quality, sizing or fabric issues within four days.
Does Retail Reload replace security gates?
No. Retail Reload is software. It connects to fixed RFID readers, including EAS gates and self-checkout, through its API.
